Second-Annual International Petroleum Summit Held in Houston, Texas
A citizen of France, Sarah Moya Machado most recently served as country manager with a natural gas company in Bogotá, Colombia. Sarah Moya Machado belongs to the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN), and she attended the 2017 International Petroleum Summit.
The AIPN began in 1981 when members of several oil companies formed a committee to discuss aspects of the oil industry. Today the nonprofit organization supports international energy negotiators around the globe.
For the past two years, the AIPN has hosted an international summit, with the 2017 event taking place in mid-May at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston, Texas. Attendees participated in workshops and networking events. The three-day summit also featured high-profile speakers and presentations covering industry hot topics. The 2018 International Petroleum Summit will take place April 23 through 25 in London and will be headlined by speaker Bob Dudley, the group chief executive of BP.
